The situation surrounding Malta international left-back Myles Beerman has continued to evolve, with the 26-year-old defender increasingly likely to leave Sliema Wanderers FC during the upcoming January transfer window.

Although the transfer window has yet to officially open, interest in Beerman has intensified in recent hours. Sliema Wanderers are understood to have set a reasonable and realistic valuation, one that is considered attainable by clubs monitoring the situation.

At this stage, it can be confirmed that two Malta Premier League clubs, Birkirkara and Floriana, have formally contacted Sliema Wanderers to express their interest in the versatile defender. Both clubs have initiated discussions with Sliema in an attempt to reach an agreement for Beerman’s transfer.

Birkirkara were the first to make an approach, with Floriana following shortly afterwards and officially registering their interest in the last few hours. In both instances, Sliema Wanderers outlined their position and communicated the asking price required for a permanent move.

So far, neither club has submitted a counteroffer. However, Floriana have made it clear to Sliema that they are keen on bringing Beerman back to the club, where he previously featured within their youth system.

Sliema Wanderers remain open to negotiations and are prepared to consider offers that come close to their valuation, as talks around Beerman’s future continue to gather momentum ahead of the January window.
