Local hockey champions Qormi Daikin continued their impressive form with a 6–3 victory over GREE Żurrieq Wolves Hotsticks in an entertaining and hard-fought encounter.

Qormi Daikin raced into a three-goal lead over the opening two quarters, appearing firmly in control. However, Żurrieq Wolves responded with a spirited display in the third quarter, mounting an impressive comeback to draw level and set up a tense final period.

The decisive moments came in the last quarter, as Qormi Daikin regrouped, tightened up defensively and capitalised on their chances to pull clear and secure the two points.

Luke Bajada led the scoring with a brace for Qormi Daikin, while Steve Tanti, John Williams, Neil Spiteri Montebello and Shawn Dimech also found the net. Żurrieq Wolves remained competitive throughout thanks to a hat-trick by Christ Agius.

The match was officiated by umpires Karl Chircop and Silvio Peralta.

In Under-14 league action, Marsaskala Heat recorded a convincing 4–0 win over Floriana Young Stars B, with goals by Julienne Carabott, Sloan Foster, Braydon Gatt Gellel and Leah Marie Calleja Fenech. The umpires for the match were Oscar Toledano and Silvio Peralta.

Meanwhile, Qormi Daikin Under-14s enjoyed a 5–2 success against Floriana Young Stars A. Zackary Farrugia starred with a hat-trick, while Eyen Toledano and Ben Falzon added further goals. Floriana’s reply came through a brace by Gabriel Cordina. This encounter was officiated by Dario Cacopardo and Kane Zammit.
