Żebbuġ FC have confirmed that Saviour Debono Grech is no longer the club’s head coach, following a mutual agreement between both parties.

This decision comes during an extremely difficult period for Debono Grech and his family, following the recent loss of his sister. The club wishes to express its sincere sympathy and support to him and his loved ones at this challenging time.

On the pitch, Żebbuġ have struggled for consistency this season, managing just one point from eight league matches. The team also come into this change after a heavy defeat against Mtarfa in their most recent outing. Despite these challenges in the league, the club enjoyed a positive run in the Jubilee Cup, where Żebbuġ delivered strong performances and reached the Quarter Finals.

Since joining the club, Saviour Debono Grech consistently showed dedication and professionalism, giving his full support to the players and all members of the technical and backroom staff in every circumstance. His commitment and work ethic have been evident throughout his tenure.
