Gżira United’s Clayton Failla Named LifeStar Insurance Player of the Month for October
Gżira United’s veteran left wing-back, Clayton Failla, has been honored as the LifeStar Insurance Best Player for October.
This recognition coincides with a strong period for Gżira United, marked by the return of Darren Abdilla as Head Coach. During October, the team went unbeaten, a run significantly aided by Failla’s excellent form and consistent performances.
Failla played a pivotal role in key results throughout the month, including:
- A 4-3 win over Mosta (MW8)
- A 3-1 victory against Tarxien Rainbows (MW9)
- A crucial 1-1 draw with Valletta (MW10), where he also earned the Most Valuable Player award for that match.
The award presentation ceremony took place at the LifeStar Insurance offices. LifeStar Insurance CEO, Jonathan Camilleri, presented the accolade to Failla.
