On Tuesday, 18 November, the Malta Motorsport Federation held its Annual General Meeting at the Old Motors Club Malta premises in Mosta.

Alongside the standard AGM agenda, Secretary General Jonathan Bruno led an important discussion on proposed amendments to the federation’s statutes, following recent legislative changes requiring updates. During the meeting, President Duncan Micallef also briefed member clubs on the latest developments regarding the Hal Far Motorsport Hub project—including progress related to the drag racing strip, the karting track, and the design of the new circuit.

This meeting marked the end of the term for Mr. Ruben Galea, who served as treasurer for more than five years and chose not to re-contest the position. Mandy Micallef, the sole candidate for the role, received the required votes and was elected as the new Treasurer of the Malta Motorsport Federation for the next three years.

In October 2023, Mandy Micallef represented the Federation in the FIA Immersion Programme—its third edition—a 10-day leadership and motorsport development course held at the FIA headquarters. Through this programme, she gained deeper insight into FIA operations, safety and event management, sustainability practices, and strategies aimed at strengthening motorsport development in Malta.

The current administration of the Malta Motorsport Federation consists of:
President – Duncan Micallef
Vice President – William England
Secretary General – Jonathan Bruno
Deputy Secretary – Oliver Attard
Treasurer – Mandy Micallef
