The Weight of Courage, The Bridger Weight Title Fight

On the 28th of November, at the Montekristo Estates, Brandon “Bogon” Borg will fight for a title. This fight is for something far greater. He will face Bosko Misic for the WBU Bridger Weight title, a belt named in honour of Bridger Walker, the six-year-old boy who became a global symbol of bravery after saving his sister from a dog attack.
That act of courage shook the world. It helps us remember that real heroes are not defined by their size or strength, but by their heart and sacrifice.
For Brandon, this fight is not about fame or recognition It’s about fighting in honour of Bridger, to show the people of Malta and beyond that hope, courage, and love still win battles every day.

Behind this message stands Keith Vassallo, Brandon’s manager and long-time supporter. For Keith, these fights must carry meaning. He believes that every challenge faced, should stand for something deeper, for community, for perseverance, for the kind of courage Bridger showed.
“this is not about winning titles,” Keith says. “this is about building a legacy that inspires others, a legacy rooted in purpose.”
Brandon’s career reflects exactly that. From Kalkara to international arenas, he has fought his way forward with heart, discipline, and faith. Every bout he takes under Keith’s guidance is chosen with intention, because legacy means more than a belt , it means leaving behind something worth remembering.
When the bell rings at Montekristo Estates, it will echo. It will echo for Bridger. For every fighter who stood their ground when life hit hardest. For everyone who dares to keep believing.
Because this fight, the Bridger Weight fight, is not only boxing this is bravery, belief, and the reminder that meaning gives strength to every struggle whatever that may be.
