Hamilton dismisses Horner–Ferrari rumours as ‘distraction’ ahead of U.S. GP
Lewis Hamilton has dismissed speculation linking Christian Horner to Ferrari, calling it an unfounded “distraction” as the team chases its first win of the season at the United States Grand Prix.
Speaking at the Circuit of the Americas, the seven-time world champion said he’d seen the rumours in Italian media but had “no idea” where they came from.
Former Red Bull boss Horner, currently on gardening leave after his July exit, has been linked to several F1 teams, including Ferrari.
Hamilton added that Ferrari’s decision to extend Fred Vasseur’s contract showed stability and focus on the future, saying: “The team’s made it clear where they stand — we’re working hard on what’s ahead.”
