Għaxaq Boċċi Club extend winning run with eighth consecutive victory in First Division
Għaxaq Boċċi Club registered their eighth consecutive victory in the First Division championship after comfortably defeating Santa Venera 21-4. The Għaxaq side remain alone at the top of the standings and have maintained the consistency with which they started the season.
In second place are St Peter’s Żabbar, just one point behind the leaders, after they dominated their encounter against Żebbuġ with a convincing 21-1 victory.
Third-placed Msida suffered their second defeat of the season after losing 21-14 to Żurrieq. Meanwhile, a closely contested match between Buġibba and Birkirkara ended with the former edging the contest 21-20.
In other matches, Lija defeated Qormi San Bastjan 21-11, while Żejtun secured a solid 21-7 win over San Ġwann.
