Cospicua Rangers continued to uphold their consistency in the National Blackball Championship as they not only strengthened their position at the top of the table but also opened a five-point lead over their closest rivals, Qormi Pinto A.

The Bormla side secured an 11-7 victory over Mrieħel Billiard House A to extend their impressive momentum. Qormi Pinto A remain in second place after edging Ħamrun 147 A 11-9.

In Section A of the Regional Championship, Qormi Pinto B sit comfortably at the top with a nine-point lead in the standings. They had little difficulty in overcoming Żebbuġ St Joseph A 11-4. Meanwhile, San Ġwann Tiki Taka Boys caught up with Ħamrun 147 C after a commanding 11-0 win over the same opponents.

In Section B of the same competition, Ħamrun 147 B maintained their perfect record, securing nine wins from as many matches played. They recorded an 11-5 victory over San Ġwann Tiki Taka Spartans. In another match, Siġġiewi MonteKristo A defeated PL Balzan A 11-7.

In Section A of the Community League, Cospicua Rangers B and Birkirkara Juve played out a highly balanced encounter which ended in a 10-10 draw.

Strong wins were recorded by Ħamrun 1889 Bar, Birżebbuġa St Peter’s B and Siġġiewi MonteKristo C, who all secured positive results against Selmun Sports Club C (11-7), Mrieħel Billiard House B (11-1) and Żebbuġ St Joseph B (11-5) respectively.

Finally, in Section B of the Community League, Ħamrun 147 D hold a seven-point lead at the top of the table, although they have played one more match than San Ġwann Tiki Taka Buddies. The Ħamrun side defeated Birkirkara Bocci 11-6 to maintain their consistency. In another fixture, San Ġwann Tiki Taka Buddies beat Selmun Sports Club B 11-3.
