Għaxaq Boċċi Club maintain their consistency
Għaxaq Boċċi Club continued to confirm their strength in the First Division championship after securing their seventh consecutive victory with a dominant 21-5 win over Żebbuġ, allowing them to remain at the top of the standings.
In second place remain St. Peters Żabbar and Msida, with both teams continuing their winning run away from home. St. Peters Żabbar defeated Qormi San Bastjan 21-11, while Msida earned a comfortable 21-5 victory against Lija.
One of the most hard-fought matches was between Żejtun and Bugibba, with the Żejtun side emerging victorious by a dramatic 21-20 scoreline. Santa Venera also secured an important and closely contested 21-20 win against Birkirkara.
Meanwhile, San Ġwann defeated Żurrieq 21-14 to continue improving their position in the league standings.
