In the CE Installations Premier League relegation play-off, Clayton Goodrum edged past France Mintoff in a thrilling encounter, securing a narrow 4-3 victory after a closely contested battle.
Meanwhile, in the Second Division relegation play-off, Carmelo Bonnici produced a dominant display to defeat Matthew Pace 3-0.
The Third Division quarter-finals also got underway with two matches. Glenn Axiaq advanced to the next round after overcoming Joseph O’Brien 3-1.
In another tightly fought contest, Manish Bishokarma booked his place in the semi-finals with a hard-earned 3-2 victory against Antish Thapa Gaha Magar.
