UEFA and Adidas unveil new era of National team kits through kit assistance scheme

UEFA has announced a new partnership with adidas to deliver freshly designed kits for 10 European national teams under the UEFA Kit Assistance Scheme.
Originally established in 2007, the initiative aims to support smaller national associations by providing high-quality match and training wear. The scheme ensures that teams can compete in professionally designed kits that reflect their unique footballing identity, heritage, and culture.
For the upcoming two seasons, national teams from Andorra, Belarus, Cyprus, Faroe Islands, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Malta, and San Marino will take to the pitch wearing bespoke adidas designs. Each kit has been created in close collaboration with its respective national association, allowing for a tailored look that represents the nation both on and off the field.
The UEFA Kit Assistance Scheme plays a crucial role in strengthening football development across Europe. By funding access to elite-level apparel, it enables associations to focus more resources on player development and competitive performance.
adidas was selected as the new supplier following a competitive tender process that prioritized product quality, affordability, customization capabilities, and proven experience in delivering large-scale kit solutions.
Participating associations will also benefit from adidas’ exclusive Locker Room design service, which offers a wide range of tools for creating and ordering customized teamwear. This service ensures that each federation can maintain a distinct identity while meeting the highest standards of performance and design.
With this collaboration, UEFA and adidas continue their shared commitment to supporting the growth of football across all levels in Europe, ensuring every team—regardless of size—can step onto the pitch with pride and professionalism.
