MAFA: Goalless stalemate between Għaxaq Wolves and Valletta St Paul’s

The situation at the top of the MAFA First Division standings remained unchanged after Għaxaq Wolves and Valletta St Paul’s played out a 0–0 draw in the weekend’s headline fixture.
First Division
Għaxaq Wolves and Valletta St Paul’s shared the spoils in a goalless encounter played at the Marsaxlokk ground. Both sides pushed for all three points, with the Wolves aiming to extend their lead at the top of the table, while the capital side sought to close the gap on their direct rivals. However, the match developed into a largely defensive contest, with few clear-cut chances created, and both teams ultimately had to settle for a point each.
As a result, Għaxaq remain firmly on course to retain the title they won last season, holding a six-point advantage over Valletta St Paul’s.
