Hibs player Amy Catania invited for one-week training with Inter amid concrete interest
Young Maltese standout Amy Catania is heading back to Italy for a second week of training with Inter, as the Serie A giants solidify their interest in the 14-year-old prospect.
Growth at Hibernians and Beyond
Since her initial stint with the Nerazzurre in September 2025, Catania has significantly developed through senior-level football with Hibernians. This progression was highlighted in January 2026, when Inter’s coaching staff observed her firsthand during a friendly match between the two clubs.
International and Career Milestones
On the international stage, Catania has been a fixture for Malta’s U-16 and U-17 teams, recently scoring in European qualifiers against Lithuania and Estonia.
Her career is now managed by Sports Pro Management and Consultancy, the same agency representing fellow Maltese star and current Inter forward Haley Bugeja.
