Cospicua Rangers B and Ħamrun 147 D sit at the top of their respective Community League sections following another week of Blackball action.

Cospicua Rangers B secured victory in their encounter against Żebbuġ St Joseph B with an 11-5 scoreline, maintaining a two-point advantage over their closest rivals, PL Floriana, who in turn defeated Selmun Sports Club C 11-4.

In other matches from Section A, Birkirkara Juve registered an 11-3 win over Mrieħel Billiard House B, while Ħamrun 1889 Bar were made to work hard for their points in a narrow 11-9 victory against Siġġiewi Montekristo.

In Section B, league leaders Ħamrun 147 D were held to a 10-10 draw by Birżebbuġa St Peter’s A in a closely contested and exciting match that went down to the wire.

In second place are San Ġwann Tiki Taka Buddies and Birkirkara Bocci, both trailing the Ħamrun side by seven points. The two teams faced each other in the standout fixture of the round, with the San Ġwann side emerging as 11-4 winners.

In further matches, Selmun Sports Club B defeated Żebbuġ St Joseph C 11-6, while Qormi Anici collected three valuable points following an 11-7 win over Siġġiewi Montekristo.
