The final four of the BOV Challenge Cup 2025-26 have been confirmed following a dramatic round of quarter-final action that saw late winners and high-scoring battles. The semi-finals are now set for a blockbuster weekend at the Gozo Stadium on 25th and 26th April 2026 (p. 1). 

Melita FC vs. Xewkija Tigers

  • Date: Saturday, 25th April 2026 | Kick-off: 13:30 (p. 1)
  • The Path: Melita became the first team to reach the semi-finals after a hard-fought 1-0 victory over the defending champions, Pietà Hotspurs. The decisive goal came early in the second half when Jesus Yepez converted a penalty.
  • The Opponent: They face Gozo’s own Xewkija Tigers, who secured their spot in a frantic 3-2 win against Gudja United. Argentine striker Brian Parada was the hero for the Tigers, netting twice in the first half to help his side edge out a resilient Gudja team.  

Birżebbuġa St Peter’s vs. SK Victoria Wanderers

  • Date: Sunday, 26th April 2026 | Kick-off: 13:30 (p. 1)
  • The Path: Birżebbuġa St Peter’s, currently flying high in the Challenge League, booked their place with a narrow 1-0 win over Kerċem Ajax. A late 84th-minute strike by Leonardo Agius was enough to separate the two sides in a closely contested match at the Centenary Stadium.
  • The Opponent: SK Victoria Wanderers advanced after a commanding 4-2 victory over Xagħra United at the Gozo Stadium. Juan Pena led the charge with a brace, supported by goals from Mustapha Amodu and Neil Camilleri to ensure the Wanderers remain in the hunt for the trophy.
