Arsenal edge past Chelsea to reach Women’s Champions League semi-finals

At the other end, Beth Mead struck the post in stoppage time before Nuesken finally found the net in the 94th minute, finishing first-time to set up a tense finale.
Tempers flared late on when Arsenal’s Katie McCabe escaped punishment for pulling Alyssa Thompson’s hair during a counter-attack, sparking protests from the Chelsea bench that led to Bompastor being sent off after receiving two yellow cards.
