Emmanuel Bugeja triumphs at Malta Freeport Trap Trophy
Emmanuel Bugeja delivered a clinical performance at the Southern Shooting Club to secure the Malta Freeport Trap Trophy.
Bugeja entered the final tied for the lead with Christopher Vella (both at 47/50) but held his nerve in the closing stages, hitting 22/25 to take the overall title. Gianluca Chetcuti surged from third in the qualifiers to claim the silver medal with a 20/25 finish, while Vella rounded out the podium in third.
