For the second consecutive month, Gżira United Head Coach Darren Abdilla has been named VBET Coach of the Month, following an impressive run of results in January.

Abdilla guided the Maroons to a flawless start to the Closing Round, registering three consecutive victories and extending the team’s strong momentum from the turn of the year. Among the standout results were commanding wins over Marsaxlokk and Birkirkara — both of whom competed in the Top 6 during the Opening Round — underlining Gżira’s growing credentials as serious contenders.

Under Abdilla’s leadership, Gżira displayed tactical discipline, attacking fluency and defensive solidity, combining consistency with confident performances against high-level opposition.
