Roma sign Malen from Aston Villa amid deal confusion
Roma have finalized the signing of Aston Villa attacker Donyell Malen, despite some uncertainty surrounding the terms of the deal.
While Aston Villa have described the transfer as a permanent move for an undisclosed fee, Roma have stated that the agreement is a loan with an option to buy.
Malen joins the Giallorossi just a year after his move from Borussia Dortmund to Villa. This season, he scored seven goals under Unai Emery but struggled for consistent game time, starting only five of Villa’s 21 league matches.
