The Malta Amateur Football Association (MAFA) held its Annual General Meeting at the premises of the Malta Football Coaches Association, during which the Administrative Report for the 2025/26 season was presented and discussed.

The season proved to be a positive and highly competitive one, with 17 teams participating across the two league divisions. Għaxaq Wolves secured their second consecutive First Division title, while Attard Edex Kings were crowned champions of the Second Division. Senglea Gunners enjoyed a memorable campaign, winning the MAFA Knock-Out, the BOV MAFA 70th Anniversary Cup, and the Twanny Agius Fair Play Cup.

During the meeting, emphasis was also placed on the Association’s administrative work and the progress achieved in the digital sphere, including increased social media content, live streaming of matches, and the successful implementation of the COMET system for online administration.

MAFA expressed its gratitude to all clubs, officials, referees, sponsors, and volunteers for their contribution throughout the season, while looking ahead to the challenges and opportunities of the 2026/27 campaign as it continues to strengthen amateur football in Malta.
