Birkirkara Boċċi Blackball Amateur League champions
Birkirkara Boċċi are the champions of the Blackball Amateur League after a strong performance in the derby against Birkirkara Juve, winning the final 11-7.
This was the first of five finals scheduled to be played this week, which will determine the respective league champions.
It was a closely contested match between the two sides, with Birkirkara Bocci leading for much of the game, while Birkirkara Juve consistently stayed in close pursuit of their opponents. In the end, however, it was Birkirkara Bocci who emerged victorious.
The second final of the week will be played this evening, featuring the Community League final between Cospicua Rangers B and San Ġwann Tiki Taka Buddies.
