Bayern Munich Reach Agreement to Sign PSV Star Ismael Saibari

Bayern Munich have reached an agreement with PSV Eindhoven to sign Ismael Saibari, according to several well-known transfer insiders.
The Moroccan international is set to move to Munich on a five-year contract, with the German giants reportedly paying up to €55 million for his services. The initial fee is expected to be around €50 million, with additional bonuses potentially increasing the total value.
If completed, the transfer would surpass PSV’s current record sale, which was the €50 million move of Hirving Lozano to Napoli in 2019.
Vincent Kompany’s Bayern Munich turned their attention to strengthening the left wing after their move for Anthony Gordon collapsed. The club quickly identified Saibari as a top target following the midfielder’s outstanding season with PSV, who secured the league title with a record 19-point advantage.
Saibari was named Eredivisie Player of the Season after an impressive campaign, scoring 15 goals and registering 8 assists in 27 league appearances.
The Spanish-born midfielder joined PSV from the KRC Genk academy in 2020 and made his senior debut in November of that year, coming on as a substitute for Mario Götze against ADO Den Haag. Since then, Saibari has made 142 appearances in all competitions, contributing 42 goals and 28 assists.
Saibari will become the first PSV player to make a direct move to Bayern Munich from the reigning Eredivisie champions.
Although several players have represented both clubs, including Arjen Robben, Mark van Bommel, Mario Götze, Malik Tillman, and Ivan Perišić, no PSV player has previously completed a straight transfer to the German giants.
