Beach Soccer: Ħamrun and Sliema to participate in the Euro Winners Challenge 2026
Malta’s two representatives, Ħamrun SC Beach Soccer and Sliema Beach Soccer, are set to compete in the Euro Winners Challenge 2026, which will take place in Nazaré from 5 to 11 June. The tournament brings together some of Europe’s leading beach soccer clubs on one of the sport’s most prestigious stages.
Ħamrun SC will begin their group-stage campaign against Kefallinia AO BS today before taking on FC Genappe tomorrow. Their final group match will see them face hosts AD Nazaré 2022.
Meanwhile, Sliema Beach Soccer will open their challenge against Falfala, followed by encounters with Ecoris and Bavaris Beach, as they aim to secure a place in the knockout stages of the competition.
