Sirens ASC have further cemented their dominance in Maltese female water polo after securing their fifth consecutive BOV Women’s Water Polo Winter League title, underlining an era of sustained superiority in the domestic competition.

The St Paul’s Bay side delivered a flawless campaign, once again setting the benchmark in the women’s game. Finishing top of the standings with a perfect record, Sirens combined attacking firepower with defensive discipline to outclass their rivals across all fixtures. Their consistent, high-level performances saw them score freely while maintaining firm control at the back, highlighting a team operating at a level unmatched in the competition.

This latest triumph confirms Sirens’ complete dominance of the Women’s Winter League, having won every edition since its introduction and establishing an unrivalled five-year reign from 2022 to 2026. Their sustained success reflects not only the quality and depth within the squad, but also a winning culture that continues to set them apart as the leading force in Maltese women’s water polo.

The championship trophy was presented to the Sirens team by Ernest Agius, Chief Operations Officer at Bank of Valletta and Stefan Abela, Community Relations Officer at Bank of Valletta, together with Karl Izzo, President of the Aquatic Sports Association of Malta, in recognition of the team’s outstanding achievement.
